We got some not so good news today

Ever just get a feeling in your mommy gut that you now sooner or later will happen? I have had that feeling for 4 yrs!
Jess went to the endo in dec and had blood work done.. We got the results of the celiac panal today and she tested positive for antibodies... This doesnt offically diagnose her with celiac disease, butdoesnt leave much room for hope that it isnt, based on her # being so high. Our next step is to the a gastro and have an endoscopy done. They will do a biopsy to look at the damage, and that will give us an offical diagnosis (or hopefully not).
So if you can please say a prayer for our little girl we would really appreciate it.
I know if she does have it we will get through it, deal with it and move on, but she already has so much to deal with that it isnt fair to add more to it.

and on a side note, the autoantibodies tests came back too. These were never done, and the research dr in chicago was wondering if she ever had them done.. She tested positive for 2 out of the 3. so that basically means she has type 1 diabetes. That was a big shock since we have thought that for 5 yrs now.

And I must say again I really love the endo Nancy... she really made me feel better about everything, andeven yelled at me for letting the school nurse get to me. She really is more like a friend then just Jessi endo.

SO if anyone knows of a good ped gastro in this area let me know.. We are gonna try to find one we like here or Nancy has some she will recommend in Cincy if I want.
