Wonderful weekend!!

Wow what a long, tiring and absoultely awesome weekend.



My parents arrived Friday afternoon. They took Jacob birthday shopping and out to eat. He had a great time being spoiled by grandma and grandpa.

Saturday started way too early. we picked up jacob's girlfriend at 7:45a and headed to Nashville for the Diabetes walk. It was a great turn out. The weather was perfect. Team Jessi raised around $4000. We had 40+ people there for our team. Jess had a great time.

We headed home to get jacob changed into football clothes and then to eat at Chili's before going to his game. My mom, Cheyanne *Jacob's girlfriend) and I left during warm up and went shopping to get some of the things for Jessi's birthday. Back to the game to watch the boys get beat up by Franklin. Our team played the best they ever had, Franklin played well too though.. and the ref, well they just down right were horrible. But eve with the bad ref'ing we wouldnt have won. Mom and Dad took Joey and Noah (the neighborhood kid/best friend to joey, that is basicaly my other son) home and down to the end of the street to watch a movie outside. I took Jacob and Cheyanne. That was the most ackward ride. Jacob was SO upset with losing his game. He just sat and starred out the window, didnt say a word the whole way home. As soon as Cheyanne got out of the car, jacob started crying because his team has only won 1 game in the preseason and basically wont be going to the playoffs. Poor kid. We got home, got the rest of the family and ran to the mexican place for dinner.

Sunday, we had a spare of the moment birthdya party for Jessi. It was the most unorganized, hectic party we have had, but Jess had a great time, the kids had a great time and it was short and sweet. My parents left shortly after the party was over. I got things cleaned up and took a nice long 3 hr nap.

Now to get the house ready for the week, backpacks ready for school, clothes out, showers and unwind for the night so we can start the week over again.
