Schools out, let the summer begin!

The kids last full day of school was last friday. I think they are glad to have the break.

We left friday night, heading to PA to visit matt's g'pa. We stopped in Lexington KY for the night, then drove up the next day. We had a great visit with family. We left late monday morning, stopped in W.V. to visit a friend from childhood. (technically she was my sisters best friend, then moved to WV in like 7th grade, but she always came back to stay with us in the summer. She is basically like a sister to me). It was really nice to visit with them, as we havent seen her in about 10 yrs. I got to meet her 3 yr old DD for the 1st time. We finally made it home about 11 hours after we started.

Joey stayed in PA, and then went to Ohio with the inlaws. He is going to be up there for about a month, then he will come home for his b-day. They are leaving my nephew here and then taking Jacob back up wtih them for a few weeks.

The new babysitter started yesterday. Jacob and Jess talked about her all evening. They said she was alot of fun. She played with them the entire time..even had a water gun fight in the house. She did great with jessi's D and celiac. Her #s were good the entire day.

Jessi has become a social butterfly lately. Last night she was invited to a tea party. She had a blast, this saturday is the ADA bike ride that we have to go to since she is the youth ambassador for it. Then immediately after that she has a friends b-day party.

Matt is working out of town alot again. So far he has only been gone about 3 days a week, but shortly it will turn into being gone full time through august. It sucks!!
