Whirlwind of emotions

How is it you can great new about your child, get news about a problem that happened that wasnt your fault, great news that a friend told ya, and yet that is all completely over shadowed with the worse news from another friend?

My good friend, Jenna, has been sick the last few weeks. She was admitted at the end of last week. Sadly we found out she probably has a type of leukemia. That is such a shock and I have been thinking and praying for her and her family all day. They allowed her to go home today to be with her family, and she will have more news in a few days. I pray that they are wrong, there is a slim chance it is a virus strong virus, but unlikely.

I feel horrible to have good news to share at the same time. Jacob arm is not broken after all. Went went to the sports med dr this morning. He said there is a stress mark on the bone but it actually isnt fractured. He was cleared to play football. We are going to get him a sleeve type brace to wear the next few weeks just to be safer.
